Program Coordinator

Pay Grade(s): 10/11 ($33.29+ DOE)
Purpose: The Generations Southeast Coordinator will be responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of vocational training programming. Incumbents will assist in administration and reporting.
Essential Functions. An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
Responsible for daily operation of Vocational Training programs
Develop and implement Vocational Training programs (outsourced or in-house)
Market, in collaboration with the Communications Department, available training opportunities
Partner with internal and external stakeholders regarding Vocational Training opportunities
Recruit, screen, and evaluate instructors
Recruit students for training opportunities
Assess instructional effectiveness, gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each training opportunity
Maintain working knowledge of theories, principles, and program guidelines
Analyze and interpret program guidelines, statues, agency policies and procedures and apply in situations or problems of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
Assist the Manager in developing and updating program policies and procedures
Monitor program budget and provide financial reports as requested by the Generations Southeast Manager
Compile statistical and narrative reports in a timely manner
Assist in writing, preparing, and submitting grant applications for the programs
Develop and maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records
Supervise up to 2 employees
Other duties as assigned

Experience in technical/vocational training education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information from multiple sources

Ability to maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized and able to handle multiple ongoing projects
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills):
High School Diploma or GED
AA Degree in closely related field
2 year of experience (paid or volunteer) performing duties related to office or clerical support.
Must be 21 years of age with a Valid Drivers License (may be a requirement for some appointments.)
Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, skills):
BS Degree in Education, Training, or related Field
Experience in coordination and implementation of Vocational Training
Ability to complete full training cycle (assess, needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate)
