PURPOSE

With oversight from Tlingit & Haida's Traditional Food Security Program Manager, selected candidate(s) will use knowledge, skills and abilities in the successful packaging and distrubition of Tradional Food(s).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)

High School diploma or GED
At least 18 years of age

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)

Current 1st Aid/CPR certificate
Alaska driver’s License

UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR RESTRICTIONS

The work is generally active, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling items weighing 50 pounds or more. Also, the position requires the use of hazardous cleaning chemicals that may cause a nauseous response. Most of the work labor is intensive and will require the candidate to work outside in winter or otherwise less than ideal weather conditions. Travel on small aircraft or ferry may be required.
